june o2 o6 I am happy to announce that 'Cognominis,' my final film for Production 2, was nominated for the Fall 2006 Take 1 Film Festival. It will be sent to a panel of professors who will narrow down the submissions to just five. I won't find out until August whether or not I was chosen as one of the Top 5, but it was an honor to be nominated again. Last Spring, my Production 1 Final Film, 'Only Once,' was selected as a finalist for the Fall 2005 Take 1 Film Festival at Columbia College. Over two-hundred fifty student films were narrowed to roughly thirty nominees, and of those thirty, five were chosen to be screened. When the festival was held in late November, my film was awarded the Official Jury Selection - the top prize in its category. Both films will be available on this site in the coming weeks. .  .  . Last summer I was fortunate enough to work with some talented friends. In June I was invited to work on Manic Mind’s debut music video Here I Am in Los Angeles, and both performed as an extra and shot production stills for the video. You can visit Manic Mind’s official site at manicmindtheband.com. Last year’s Millie Lewis Acting, Modeling, and Talent Competition was held in Orlando, Florida during the last weekend of July.
